Standard service labor rate is $100 per hour on site with a one hour minimum. One hour is usually sufficient to diagnose problems and correct minor issues
Travel outside the local area will be invoiced at $50 per hour spent in transit. Travel charges will not apply for Allegan and Ottawa county locations and also will not apply for Grand Rapids
All parts will be invoiced at list price from the supplier/manufacturer

Want to keep your kiln operating as it should? Schedule a kiln checkup which includes the following activities as applicable:

Measure element resistance or current
Pin any loose elements
Vacuum out entire kiln and control panel
Check controls/ switches for proper operation
Check all wiring for damage or wear
Verify proper service voltage
Check and adjust hinge operation
Check power cord for damage or wear
Check power receptacle for damage or wear
Tighten body bands
Replace rusted or stripped screws
For electronic controlled kilns
- Check/replace thermocouples
- Check computer for proper operation
For Kiln Sitter Kilns
- Check Kiln Sitter operation, check rod for wear
- Calibrate Kiln Sitter
Consultation on recommended repairs and kiln issues
Written estimate will be provided for additional repairs
